We are looking to recruit an exceptionally talented interim procurement professional to join our Commercial Hub. As Category Lead (Head of Categories), successful candidate will lead on the procurement of contracts across different categories of spend across different business services including ICT, Finance, HR, Professional Services and Social Care.
Candidates must have public sector procurement experience including practical hands-on experience of tendering and well versed in Public Contracts Regulations. In addition to being professionally skilful and commercially astute, candidates need to demonstrate a successful record of partnership working in multi-disciplinary teams, including consultation and negotiation. Have commercial expertise in complex, large scale and high value public procurement, have experience and be familiar with the use of Frameworks, Dynamic Purchasing Systems and traditional procurement procedures.
Role is based on hybrid working and will be expected to attend onsite client meeting as required.
Candidates with prior experience of using Atamis e-procurement system will be preferred.
