The main purpose of the role is to lead a national team delivering our Fire and Building Safety Teams services ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and corporate
standards across each area.
Skills/Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience of leading, managing and motivating teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements in relation to Fire and Building Safety, and associated regulations (such as Fire safety Act (RRO), Building Safety Act, Building Control regulations).
- Substantial experience of stakeholder and contractor management, with a track record of continuous improvement.
- A proactive approach to managing performance, risk and regulatory compliance.
- A sound understanding of procurement legislation and good practice in contract management.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully managing budgets, and a high level of financial literacy.
Desirable:
- Experience of asset compliance contracts either within the housing or contractor sectors.
