Co-ordination, forecasting and analysis of spending patterns in relation to the Dedicated Schools Grant.
The role is required to provide additional capacity to the finance team to enable multiyear forecasting work to be completed, including completion of the DSG Management Plan.
The candidate is expected to work with a range of teams in the LA and externally, education and health, to enable the completion of the multi year forecast and identify actions that will help address the forecast deficit on the High Needs Block.
Mainly remote but there may be some ad-hoc requirement to meet face to face to complete the project. This will be agreed with prior notice by the line manager.
