HCPC qualified Educational Psychologist to work across the council, doing remote, statutory Education, Health and Care assessments. This will require you to; be using a range of assessment materials that can be delivered virtually, carry out remote observations, meet with parents/carers, children and young people, school and setting staff, and other involved professionals through the use of video conferencing platforms such as Teams or Zoom.
You will be required to use the EHC assessment templates supplied by the Educational Psychology Service and work to specified time scales. This will be commissioned per advice. Each advice takes 2 days and we will be looking to commission 10 advices per month.
You will be given a Senior Educational Psychologist to report to who will be the conduit through which work is assigned, will be your key point of contact and will be able to direct you to relevant support services, e.g. business administration.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
