To manage and offer guidance on all aspects of Fire Safety and Asbestos compliance within buildings owned or managed by the council. To act as the point of contact for staff, peers in other organisations and other stakeholders regarding all matters of fire and Asbestos safety. To commission or carry out Assessments to ensure the organisation remains legally compliant in line with government regulations and guidance. To manage and control relevant budgets and project managers to deliver effective remedial works and inspections.
