Project Manager Roles at Southampton City Council

As Imperium Resourcing continues to grow, we are constantly taking on new and exciting projects across the UK with the view to place high-level interim professionals into roles that will help shape and grow the infrastructure of towns and cities. We are proudly supporting Southampton City Council with a cohort of Project Managers working on exciting and innovative projects cross-Council.

These projects will contribute to the Southampton City Vision, which is a Local Plan that sets out the future coordinated development of the area over the next 20 years. This includes delivering space for new homes, workspaces and all the infrastructure and facilities that will be needed to support them, whilst also protecting and enhancing the local environment.

The plan will also recognise individual neighbourhood identities, connect Southampton with the waterfront and encourage growth and further investment in the city. Imperium’s involvement is having a positive impact on Southampton City Council by aiding their search for Project Managers to lead these exciting projects. Our teams are specialists within their field and we are proud to be making an impact up and down the country.

The PM’s will work across business change and IT enabling projects and will be fully versed delivering multiple projects across the directorate, including:

• Hants 2025 – Electric vehicles
• Waste Improvement
• Adult Social Care Reform
• Strategic Procurement – major contracts
• Process Redesign
• Operating Model – service redesign
• Office Accommodation – different ways of working
